A: Using a remote replication solution (such as those available from Data Domain) the recovery process is to simply vary the devices online!  The volsers will be there waiting to be accessed.  With VTLs and remote replication (such as those available from Sepaton and Copan), an additional (fast) step will be to re-inventory the Channel Gateway tape volume manger prior to use.  For real-tape based solutions, the tapes will need to be physically added to the tape library and then re-inventoried.
